June CPI Index at 332.568 as QQQ Falls 2.40% on the Week (Week Ending July 16, 2026)

The CPI index for June came in at 332.568. In the week to July 16, QQQ fell 2.40% while Apple gained 5.39% and Microsoft 4.36%.

The broad market led in the week to July 15: SPY rose 1.26% and QQQ 0.89%. Apple gained 4.01% on Wednesday and Microsoft 2.78%.

The 10-year yield closed near 4.59% on Tuesday, July 14. NVIDIA rose 4.06% on the day and 7.55% on the week; QQQ gained 1.12% and SPY 0.36%.

The VIX closed at 17.45 on Monday, July 13. QQQ fell 1.90% and SPY 0.77% on the day, and NVIDIA dropped 3.52%.

NVIDIA rose 8.28% in the week to July 10, including 4.03% on Friday. QQQ gained 1.81% and SPY 1.37%, while the 10-year yield ended at 4.57%.

Apple rose 7.42% in the week to July 9 and closed at 316.22, just below its 52-week high of 317.40. Tesla fell 4.41% and QQQ slipped 0.26%.

Unemployment stood at 4.2% for June and the 10-year yield at 4.56%. In the week to July 9, SPY rose 0.80%, QQQ slipped 0.26%, and Apple gained 7.42%.

QQQ lost 3.39% over five sessions to July 8 while SPY slipped just 0.18%. Apple gained 8.30% on the week; Tesla fell 6.31%.

The 10-year yield closed at 4.53% on Tuesday, July 7, up 3.59% from a week earlier. QQQ fell 2.02% over five sessions while SPY gained 0.91%.

The VIX closed at 15.57 on Monday, July 6. SPY rose 3.06% over five sessions, Apple 10.18%, and Tesla jumped 6.69% on the day.
